How does Unattended Setup work in XEOX?

The operating system is stored on the server. From there the selected PCs load it to execute the installation. As a standard method the XEOX development team uses PXE (Preboot eXecution Environment) which is supported by the majority. The setup has been extended in that way that one-time packages (software packages such as MS Office, Mozilla Firefox or Adobe Reader) can be installed at the same time as the operating system.

On PCs with no network interface card, or which do not support PXE, you can also install XEOX using CD / DVD. In addition, XEOX integrates type-specific hardware drivers.
