Within this modul each XEOX agents queries automatically the hardware / software state of its workstation. The gathered information is synchronized with the central database (CMDB) . So you always have up-to-date information about the hard- and software which is actually used in your company and a current inventory of each single PC.

The inventory contains information such as:
  • which hardware is installed in the company
  • an accurate list of built in hardware components (RAM, hard disk drive,...) of each PC
  • which software is installed on which clients
  • number of installed software (license management)
Interaction with other modules:
  • Asset Management: with the module hardware / software inventory the entered information is updated
  • Unattended Setup: the XEOX agent on each client reports the CMDB, whether the installation was successful or not
  • Softwarerollout: the new installed software gets included in the inventory and a list of PCs with this software is created
